The Sr. Revenue Management Analyst monitors competitive pricing and internal booking performance, establishes inventory levels based on revenue data of passenger loads capacity, group bookings and demand in order to maximize revenues through the use of forecasting tools; ability to achieve acceptable results in the areas of RASM, Load Factor, Average Fare, Posted Leg L/F, Managed Leg L/F to improve profitability.  The Sr. Revenue Management Analyst is also responsible for maintaining awareness of competitive pricing issues within assigned markets and making recommendations for necessary adjustments.

  • Optimizes and validates forecasted demand of select markets
  • Coordinates initiatives between pricing/revenue analysts and specialists
  • Analyzes market influences, evaluates market historical performance and identifies market demand patterns
  • Recommends market/flight-level forecast strategies
  • Audits, monitors and refines individual progress towards market goals and strategies
  • Audits effective usage in PROS of all influences, forecast accuracy and demand shifts
  • Interacts with group desk, pricing and other departments in order to maximize revenues
  • Participates in the creation of regular reports for senior management
  • Analyzes the potential of and recommends, if appropriate, ext5ra left / scheduling changes / market connections
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Aviation Management or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
  • Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Operations Research preferred
  • Previous knowledge and experience with PROS revenue management system and/or ATPCO
  • Ability to efficiently summarize variances and present recommendations to upper management
  • Ability to produce high quality quantitative methods
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
  • Understanding of the application of principles, concepts, practices of pricing and revenue management theory
  • High degree of PC skills (MS Office applications, database tools, etc.)
  • Ability to work under general direction with latitude in planning workload to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to handle confidential material
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, ability to take ownership and deliver results
