About The Job

This job is a member of the Flight Team within the Integrated Operations Division. This position will be responsible for initiating, coordinating and processing flight operations standardization projects/manual revisions in addition to special projects as assigned.

Specifically, you'll do the following:

* Coordinates with the chief pilots, fleet captains and technical pilots to ensure standardization of procedures across aircraft fleets and establish time lines and deadlines to meet FAA/Jeppesen submission and publishing/posting dates

* Maintains Operations Advisory pages and special airport familiarization documentation to include FrameMaker (FM) source files on the server and posted/published Adobe Acrobat documents (pdfs) on myMobile365, AAPilots and Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro

* Reviews Jeppesen alert documentation to identify revised content for inclusion into applicable Ops Advisory page and J-8 special message when necessary until Ops Advisory page publication

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in related field or minimum of 3 years airline experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Flight operations experience

* Full understanding of the following with respect to the certificate holder's operation:

* Aviation safety standards and safe operating practices

* 14 CFR Chapter I (Federal Aviation Regulations)

* Certificate holder's operations specifications

* Jeppesen publication system

* Experience in publishing software to include Adobe FrameMaker and Acrobat Pro

* Working knowledge of flight operations terminology, policy and procedures

* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks

* Ability to work under pressure of changing priorities and deadlines

* Ability to interface with various levels of management, employees and external agencies/professional associates/vendors

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member

* Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain strict confidentiality

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

* Knowledge of the internet and accessing other electronic information sources

* Must project a professional appearance and attitude
