Specialist, Revenue Management - Atlanta, GA
Responsible for producing financial and market intelligence by querying data repositories and generating periodic reports. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Will devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends using available information sources.
Will analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related product, market, or share trends.
Will synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
Will manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
Will collect business intelligence data.
Will identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications.
Will analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve sales of existing products.
Will generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Will identify or monitor current and potential customers, using business intelligence tools.
Will maintain library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
Will create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
Will practice safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.
Will work well with others in a time-sensitive team environment.
Will perform related responsibilities as needed.
Minimal international and domestic travel required, up to 10%
Requires Bachelor's degree/foreign equivalent degree in quantitative discipline (Economics, Finance, Engineering, CIS, Statistics, or Operations Research).
Requires 3 years of analytic work experience.
Requires 3 years of experience with supply and demand forecasting within airline management.
Requires 3 years of experience with airline economic concepts.
Requires 3 years of experience with airline logic and pricing systems (GFS, ATPCO, AirPrice) and/or airline yield management systems (Sabre, etc.).
Requires 3 years of experience with spreadsheet analysis.
Must have strong analytical skills as well as a 3 years of experience in data mining using Brio/SAS and Excel.
Requires 2 years of experience working with travel agency sales account managers.
Requires 2 years of experience in process improvement analysis and/or tool creation and enhancement.
Requires attention to detail, analytical ability and strong oral/written communication skills.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
