Position Overview

Oversees the effective management of aircraft parts and general inventory.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and manage accurate and complete inventory records
* Generate reports from the system and other databases in support of material activities

* Build and maintain part number records to include general inventory and tooling

* Support inventory counting activities and adjustments
* Prepare and reconcile journal entry, general ledger reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance and monthly and year end closings

* Evaluate for optimal inventory levels according to forecasts and replenishment cycles

* Identifies and directs disposal of surplus or obsolete inventory
* Interact with various departments to support their requirements
* Perform other duties as may be assigned


Minimum Requirements

* 2+ years of experience in Inventory Control, Supply Chain, or related field(s)

* 2+ years of post-high school college education
* Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, databases and other ERP systems Strong process analysis and improvement skills

* Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-directing, and able to meet deadlines in an environment of constantly changing priorities and data

* Understanding and appreciation of internal controls required for operational and regulatory purposes

* Understand accounting implications related to inventory records
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams and make recommendations based on data and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

* Airline experience (preferred 2 years)
* Prior experience in retail or distribution industry a plus
* BS degree in a relevant field
