The successful candidate will be an integral team member responsible for achieving financial plan objectives, enhancing the controls environment, streamlining processes and SAP/HFM reporting solutions, and supporting the overall objectives of the Operations FP&A team. Central Operations is a dynamic and fast-paced organization and offers an opportunity to learn about UTAS products, the global business environment, strategic cost management, accounting and controls. Teamwork and communication skills are critical as the candidate will interact with operations and finance executives. The role requires working knowledge and aptitude with SAP, and proficiency in HFM and Microsoft Office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Support FP&A deliverables and work with central budget owners to develop Annual Plan, 5-year Plan, Latest Estimate etc. • Manage the P&Ls for Operations Central Budgets • Perform month end, quarter end, and year end close activities • Assist with consolidating responses from sites for key deliverable as needed. • Provide support to departmental budget owners and site finance groups as needed • Review and validate headcount for all of central budgets and assist finance sites when necessary • Assist with Internal Controls to ensure 100% compliance; includes ACAs, Audits, ARMS, eSOX, and policy updates; ensure financial reporting and accounting treatment is consistent with GAAP and corporate policy • Assist in ACE process improvements • Perform Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting and additional FP&A responsibilities as required
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
Education: 2-3+ years of related experience required. The candidate should be a self-starter who works well independently and under tight deadlines. Excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills required.
