KBRwyle Software and IT Solutions Sector is seeking a Software Engineer to join our ASSIST software development team. ASSIST is the Automated Single Sign-on Integrated Services Tool that supports the NAVAIR 6.8.4 Data Warehouse & Decision Analysis Support Commodity Line application’s user authentication and authorization services.
The ideal candidate shall be knowledgeable about the software development life cycle (SDLC) and be able to adhere to coding standards, follow team established software development processes, and use established configuration management tools. The primary responsibilities of the candidate include web development in ASP.Net and C#, unit testing, and continuous integration with the opportunity to participate in team strategy and improvement. Our diverse team operates in an interactive, collaborative and self-organizing Agile team environment.
Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or other related technical discipline and six (6) years of experience is required. Four (4) additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree. Industry certifications are desired (CISSP, Security +, CSM, PMP, etc.).
Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience with CMMI ML 3 processes is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) including build services and Release Manager is desired. Ideal candidate will have experience with project management and/or Scrum/Agile tools (MS Project, Visio, etc.).
Applicant must meet the following minimum qualifications:
• Able to participate in the full software development life cycle utilizing Agile methodologies
• Experience with object oriented programming
• Experience developing in MVC/MVP
• Experience with Web APIs, ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, stored procedures
• Strong software lifecycle management experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
