The successful candidate will perform a variety of software development and documentation activities for the project. The focus for this position will be the development, documentation (IEEE) and unit testing of a large robotic control system. Comfort level, confidence and diplomacy in interacting directly with customers is needed. Accuracy and simplicity utilizing JSF C++ coding standard, safety critical software compliance are needed. The developer will apply documented project processes and tools (Parasoft) to ensure that quality standards for development and configuration management are applied to the project's software development effort.
Education/Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT or related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience is required. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, six (6) years of related work experience is required. Experience using Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Visual Studio, C++, C, and C# (optional) proficiency is required. Experience in Unit Testing with Parasoft tool is a definite plus. Experience in JSF C++ coding standard, safety critical software compliance, code analysis tools, UML modeling, Source Control and IEEE documentation will also be a plus.
