CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT

L-3 RASM-E is a diverse program with the headquarters located in Ft. Bragg, NC. Additional support sites are located in Hunter AAF, Savannah, GA, Ft. Drum, NY, Ft. Belvoir, VA, Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and West Point, NY. This position will be at New River, NC.

We are looking for an individual that is a self-starter, organized and detail oriented. Your position reports directly to the Deputy Program Manager and Program Manager. Work hours are Monday – Friday day shift, but can vary due to the mission requirements. You may need to work weekends and or holidays as the mission requires. Hours will be set by the unit. You will be required to work more than 40 hours a week as this is an exempt position.

The Site Manager is ultimately responsible for all onsite personnel, activities, and work/shift assignments. The Site Manager shall ensure that RASM-E processes, procedures and standards are followed by all personnel to include following the Specifically Negotiated License Rights (SNLR) under the Logistics Modernization Program, and for those employees handling personally identifiable information (PIT), the Privacy Act. The Site Manager shall have the authority to hire, terminate and discipline employees by following the appropriate EEOC guidelines and L-3 policies and procedures. The Site Manager shall be in charge of the Site Management Team and have full authority to interact and work with the COR. You will work closely with the customer Project Officer and Government Quality Assurance Representatives and implements procedures contained in the Standard Operations Procedures Manual.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following duties:

•Responsible for personnel assignments, transactions, workmanship, schedules, safety training, quality control.

•Overall production and administration of on-site operations that provides organization, intermediate and depot level maintenance, modification and repair of aircraft, vehicles, or other systems for services.

•Ensures timely and accurate processing of forms, records, and reports i.e. lost tools, property damage, assist with accident investigations and corrective action. Initial notification shall be made to the COR within 1 hour with follow-up Investigative Report within 48 hours. Ensures RASM-E Supervisors are provided a daily attendance/forecasted leave report.

•Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with the customer.

•Must have ability to supervise large team complements including lead-man, production supervisors.

•Requires a high degree of tact, judgment, knowledge, integrity, and the ability to deal with and influence others in a positive manner.

•Must be knowledgeable of ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000 quality management systems requirements, applicable RASM-E SOPs, DoD Regulations, the Privacy Act, and SNLR of LMP.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Must ensure all contractor employees are complying with all RASM-E SOPs and DoD Regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree plus 4 years Aircraft Maintenance experience OR Associates Degree 8 years Aircraft Maintenance experience OR High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 12 years Aircraft Maintenance experience, 9 of which must be related exempt experience.

•Must have a minimum of 6-8 years of Management of at least 50 employees

•Direct experience as an Aviation Maintainer with extensive experience in CH/MH-53E sustainment required.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Travel up to 25% of the time.

•Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license when required by job assignment.

•Must have a current or be able to obtain within 60 days and maintain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government.

•Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for Common Access Card (CAC).

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for sustained periods of time. Must be able to work primarily with fingers such as picking, pinching, typing. Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Must be capable of routinely performing industry standard ambidextriosities required to complete tasks. Must be able to lift/maneuver up to 50 pounds. Must be able and willing to enter and work in confined spaces, such as aircraft fuel tanks and beneath floor panels with clearances of 18” – 24”.
