This position requires a basic knowledge of aircraft structures, fastening systems, procedures and techniques. Will work closely with Lead Technicians to organize manpower and set priorities for involved projects. Must be competent at working from drawings, blue prints and written instructions. Job duties will vary each day and are designated by the Team Leader in charge of the project. May be required to work independently or lead small projects.
Perform involved, extensive and precise sheet metal functions on airframe and associated components.
Maintain quality control on all aspects of assigned projects.
Supervise, instruct and train assigned crew members.
Coordinate with other crews working on aircraft to minimize interference and ensure smooth work flow.
Provide input to and cooperate with Engineering and Quality Assurance in development and documentation of modifications and repairs.
Address minor disciplinary issues and problem resolutions.
Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Self-motivated and able to maintain a rapid pace.
Able to organize and process work with minimal supervision.
Ability to lead and provide incentive to other team members.
Ability to think ahead and anticipate problems.
Desire and ability to produce a quality job under sometimes less than ideal conditions.
Must perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
Must follow verbal and written instructions from assigned Team Leader.
Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
Maintain customer oriented work habits.
Consistently uphold quality standards and adhere to sheet metal crew procedures and policies.
Direct the work flow of projects to ensure continuity, quality and efficient use of time and materials.
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting.
Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands.
Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines.
Ability to work with others in a professional manner.

Will work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Supervisor of Avionics.
Will be directed to supervise other technicians in specific jobs.
Work with minimal supervision.
The majority of work will be accomplished in a heated hangar.
Work outside will occur.
Varied positions in and around the aircraft.
Extensive use of tall ladders and elevated work stands may be required.
Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic.
Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical equipment.
Jacks, stands, lifts and other support devices.
Tugs, power carts and other engine powered equipment.
