*This position is contingent upon contract award.*
The TSCM engineer shall provide episodic support HQ USSOCOM and SOCCENT TSCM Programs. The level of effort expected is not to exceed 940 hours per year. Tasks include:
Conduct all maintenance functions to ensure networked radio sensors remain online and active.
Perform patch management, software upgrade management, network trouble shooting, software development, fault characterizations, remote maintenance troubleshooting, firmware upgrades to receivers: DART, STC, RAIDER III, Network Guard, PLA, and Port Switcher, and other upgrades to Tactical Support Package and advancing software development in the enterprise monitoring solution.
Draft requests for Approval to Operate (ATO) for equipment to be operated on SOF Network –SIPR (SOFNET-S).
Qualifications and Skills Requirements
Graduate of Department of Defense or Federal Counterintelligence/Law Enforcement Badge and Credentialing School
Certification from the TSCM Fundamental Course, Inter-Agency Training Center, Fort Washington, Maryland
Must have or acquire within 90 days of employment and maintain current (within 3 years) IAT Level II or higher certifications (IAW DoDI 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management and
DoDM 8570.01, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program).
5 years’ combined experience operating RAIDER III, STC, Network Guard, Power line Antennas, DART.
management, software upgrade management, network trouble shooting, software development, fault characterizations, remote maintenance troubleshooting and firmware upgrades for receivers RAIDER III, STC, DART, Network Guard, Antenna Port Switchers (such as ISU8 & Cory Micronics or Equivalent) and current networked RF receivers.
