The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Production Engineering organization is seeking a Tool Designer to support the 747/767 program in Everett, WA.
Responsibilities include the following:
Collects, defines, and communicates Tool Design technical requirements to Tool Engineering Offload Suppliers.
Tracks, monitors, and project manages tooling projects through the tool design processes.
Participates in tool design reviews.
Ensures Tool designs follow current processes, policies, and safety guidelines.
Communicates tool design status with customers.
Tracks tool engineering design quality and schedule performance.
Ability to work in a teaming environment.

The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills and capabilities:
5+ years of experience with tool design
1 or more years of experience with CATIA.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Typical Education & Experience:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 6 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of project management experience
Boeing tooling processes
Tooling systems knowledge (e.g. MES, REDARS, SATs, PDM, etc.)
