Primary Responsibilities:

* Electrical design and development of test equipment for generator and ram air turbine aerospace applications.
* The work includes mechanical design, electrical design, hardware analysis, manufacturing support of development and qualification test systems and setups.
* Supplier selection and coordination is also required for this role.

Basic Qualifications:
* Candidate should have a minimum of 7 years demonstrated performance in the design and construction of test equipment/facilities for electro-mechanical rotating hardware generators, motors, transmissions, and turbomachinery).
* Experience in performing product and component development and qualification (including performance and environmental) testing is desired.
* The position requires self-motivation, resourcefulness, good written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment with support organizations.
* An understanding of electric machines and rotating mechanical hardware construction is beneficial for the position.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Background in mechanical design and analytical tools is a plus.
