General responsibilities of the position: Area of Expertise:
Performance of research, design, and development of turbine engine controls including Control dynamics analysis.

Level of Responsibility:
· Responsible for the dynamic analysis of engine systems for helicopter, propeller airplanes and Turbofan airplanes;
· Contributes to their team or department by applying their knowledge of one or more functional areas;
· Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others;
· Has in depth knowledge of the discipline and role.

Specific responsibilities of position: · Perform analysis of turbine engine control system dynamics;
· Define Modeling requirements to the simulation and performance departments;
· Work with the simulation department to develop powerplant simulations;
· Define dynamic requirements for Equipment specifications for control effectors (FCU, BOV, VGV) as well as for the filtering of control inputs.;· Setup control loops for turbine engine controls.
· Support software implementation of turbine engine control loops in embedded software;
· Support bench, engine and aircraft testing of control loops;
· Tune turbine engine controls on model, engine and aircraft;
· Develop and apply new technologies for engine controls.

Qualifications required: · Bachelor degree with 4 to 7 years experience.
· Master degree with 2 to 5 years experience.
· PHD.

Field of studies: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
