General responsibilities of the position: Area of Expertise:
Acquisition of materials and resources required for the company.
Level of Responsibility:
· Responsible for several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project;
· Contributes to their team or department by applying their knowledge of one or more functional areas;
· Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or direction from others;
· Has in depth knowledge of the discipline and role.
Specific responsibilities of position: The candidate is responsible for managing a group of suppliers. (Managing the Business relationship, follow up on KPIs, enforce contractual clauses - performance and cost of poor quality as well as intervene in delivery issues.) The candidate is also responsible for managing inventory and contributing to the different projects related to his suppliers that are lead by support groups (Technical Projects, Quality, Logistics, Contracts, NPI). He / She will also be the link with internal customers (Assembly and Aftermarket) for parts under his responsibility.
Qualifications required: · Bachelor degree with 4 to 7 years experience.
· Master degree with 2 to 5 years experience.
