Performs quality tests on incoming raw material and finished products.
HIRING RANGE: $30.00-$36.00
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs tests at specific stages in production for properties such as dimensions, performance, mechanical, electrical and chemical characteristics and performs final inspection.
Prepares and evaluates test results and makes all necessary changes for certification of material.
Generates chemistry, thermal expansion and other quality tests as required and performs analysis and recommendations as required.
Maintains records and certification files for all incoming raw material,
Performs all quality related functions as needed or directed by the Senior Quality Technician or Quality Assurance Manager.
Data entry using Microsoft Office, specifically Access.
Performs internal audits

Has knowledge and ability to perform all quality related tests and has the ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform quality related tests.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in material engineering or other technical discipline with a minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing operation; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
