Landing Systems

We have an immediate need for a 2nd shift Quality Technician in our Fort Worth facility.

The role and responsibility of this position includes:

Provide technical/administrative support to the Quality function, which encompasses Product Integrity and Quality Control.

Typical Roles/Area of Focus: Incumbent's responsibilities will generally focus on one or more of the following:
•All levels of Inspection to include; Product, Process and Paperwork, First article, Receive-in, In process, and Final inspections. •Quality Notification Processing
•Detailed measurements utilizing standard inspection hand tools
•Interpret Blue prints and 3D drawings
•Bond cage management
•Creation of standard work and procedures for Inspection techniques
•Scrap processing
•Inspection training and testing Level of Responsibility:
•Under moderate supervision, performs varied tasks of intermediate complexity i.e. Product inspections, Paperwork reviews for accuracy, Receiving inspection.
•Applies intermediate and some advanced skills to perform functions of the position within assigned area.
•May adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, materials and/or equipment to meet the more complex requirements functions of the position.
•May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of other employees

All Employees Shall:
•Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements
•Report to supervision conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards
•Attend scheduled EH&S training program
•Actively support the organization's efforts to meet or exceed EH&S goals and plans
•Recommend improved EH&S practices

Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus additional specialized courses or short-term training (one year or less) with minimum of 5 years’ experience OR Associates Degree,
Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post high school training (two years duration) with minimum of 3 years’ experience
