Role Summary:
The Quality Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for quality and performing basic quality tasks within material release.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition, the Quality Manufacturing Technician will :

* Responsible for performing material release or MRB documentation

* Responsible for performing basic quality tasks such as:

* Process / Product Audits

* Data Compilation

* Record Keeping

* Report Generation

* Material Inspection, etc.

* Ability to perform minor trouble shooting on non-compliances

* Verifies production data for conformance and compliance to drawings and specifications

* Accurately maintain lab records, process documentation, test results, etc. fully adhering to data retention standards

Qualifications/Requirements:

* High School Diploma / GED

* 2 years of relevant Quality experience

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

* This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment

Desired Characteristics:

* Basic knowledge of ERP systems and evaluation of inspection results

* Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are required

* Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Ability to work effectively within a diverse teaming environment with minimal supervision

* Working knowledge of different inspection techniques highly desirable
