Founded in 1988 and supported by more than 183.000 members, Luxembourg Air Rescue/Luxembourg Air Ambulance employs nowadays more than 180 highly qualified experts and operates 6 rescue helicopters and 6 air ambulance jets. Based on the experience of more than 3.000 missions done per year, LAR has become one of the leading players worldwide with regards to quality and reliability in the air rescue & air ambulance business. 

For the continued strengthening of our team, we are currently looking for a Quality Administrator and ARS (m/f) (Full-time position)

The candidate’s main responsibilities:

• Manages the CAME/MOE and has full editorial responsibility 

• Proof reads TD Job descriptions, procedures and instructions regarding the compliance with EASA, the Quality System of LAA, other applicable regulations and the predefined norms. 

• Prepares, adapts and if necessary amends the existing procedures for use within the Organization of TD, and develops new ones 

• Advises the process owner on the evolution (e.g. updates) of all applicable regulations and other directives applicable to EASA Part M and EASA Part 145, and gives assistance to these persons 

• Cooperates with and helps the department heads for the implementation management and follow-up internal & NAA, audits and the accompanying finding rectification 

• He or She is the auditor for all contracted and subcontracted TD activities in close consultation and coordination with the Quality department as well as being the auditor for spot-check audits within the Technical Department 

• Provides the TD management and the Quality Manager with regular information of audit and inspection results and actions taken as a basis for the formal management evaluation of the effectiveness of the Quality System 

• Administers the Quality Auditing Tool (Q-Pulse) on behalf of TD including system update and improvement 

• Monitors the development and implementation of corrective action plans, requires appropriate measures for audit findings and their closure, by meeting the due dates 

• Plans, organizes and performs Airworthiness Reviews in accordance to Part M subpart I by meeting the date of maturity of the airworthiness review certificate 

• Monitors findings from the airworthiness review and its closure, by meeting the due dates 

• Investigates or participates investigation on any incident involving Maintenance 

• Follows / monitors the Occurrence Reports assigned to TD 

• Manages the Deficiency Reporting in TD 

• Participates, coordinates and if required, leads small projects with or on behalf TD 

Needed qualifications: 

• The candidate provides an university degree in a technical discipline (e.g.: aerospace technology, mechanical, electrical) and/ or a long-term experience in the Engineering or Quality section of a CAMO or MRO 

• Approved as Airworthiness Review Staff (ARS) 

The candidate’s experience & knowledge: 

• Minimum 10 years’ experience within the aviation industry 

• Demonstrate AOC/CAT and Complex Aircraft experience 

• In depth knowledge of EASA Part M and EASA Part 145 requirements with experience as auditor is considered as a clear advantage 

Skills & aptitudes: 

• familiar in standard applications of MS Office 

• knowledge of Maintenance Software i.e. AMOS and Safety / Compliance Software i.e. Q-Pulse are considered as an advantage 

• self-motivating and accurate with strong organizational skills and a clear sense of priorities 

• flexible and stress resistant, works and interact with various departments and contact person 

• well organized and structured with focus on quality methodologies 

• able to take initiatives and be creative 

• able to create partnerships with people in order to pursue a common objective 

• fluent in English (written and spoken) – Knowledge of French, German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an asset
