As a PWES Production Support Co-op at UTC Aerospace Systems you will be working directly at the PW Engine Center in Middletown. As UTAS hardware needs to be investigated or dispositioned within the quality system this role is critical to support timely resolution of hardware issues. As the onsite point of contact for support across the commercial and military engine programs as they assemble and test new production and development engines, you will see a variety of hardware types and engine events that will require root cause investigations and corrective action plans working with an integrated product team.
You will be working directly with our onsite Production Support Engineer, as well as our other assembly site team members across all PW assembly locations and attend weekly meetings with Senior Leadership to analyze the trending data across sites and product types.
The Production Support Co-op shall be responsible for:
* Tracking hardware removals from the production engine assembly lines.
* Investigate engine hardware events.
* Support any Mechanical Design Activities involved with engine installations.
* Coordinate across multiple assembly sites on lessons learned.
* Must have completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework by May 2018
* Must be willing to work 40 hours per week

* GPA of 3.0 or above is required
