As co-op with the Air Management Systems (AMS) Military Program Office, you will have responsibility for developing processes to analyze and execute plans for cost reduction and warranty management. Several key strategic initiatives have been identified to drive profitability within AMS and grow the business with existing and new customers. Integral to this strategy is identifying projects to drive cost reduction and warranty management, working with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply management, operations and aftermarket. Upon completion of the assignment, you will have developed project management skills, an overall understanding of the AMS products and services, and an introduction to the P&L structure of a business within UTAS.
The candidate shall be responsible for:
* Working with the cost reduction team to prioritize existing projects and brainstorm new projects where gaps are identified
* Ensuring the full cross-functional IPD team is constructed to support each project
* Developing the business case for expected savings and project plan for each project
Managing the projects toward a target implementation date
* At least sophomore status or completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours of college coursework.
* GPA of 3.0 or above is required.

NOTE: A relocation stipend will be given to candidates who meet the relocation eligibility requirements; candidates must be US Citizen or Green Card holder.
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s/master’s degree in a related field, such as Engineering, Business or Finance.
