The candidate is required to monitor, evaluate, analyze and manage the financial performance of assigned programs or business areas. Reports directly to the Director of Business Management. Position has extensive contact with individuals inside and outside the organization and requires the proven ability to build positive working relationships across business functions and clearly communicate with the Division’s Business Managers.
•Supervise a small team of program business analysts responsible for managing the financial health of a significant portion of the Division's diverse program portfolio
•Manage the financial performance of programs in accordance with contract terms and conditions
•Assist in the development of the business area's strategy and related pursuit pipeline necessary to grow both revenue and income
•Review and prepare pricing data in support of customer RFP's
•Develop program budgets and forecasts
•Develop work break down structures and assists in preparing CDRL's, if necessary
•Responsible for the execution and control of program EAC's
•Prepare financial analyses of operations (e.g. labor/headcount tracking) for guidance of management
•Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance analysis for both program management and for consolidation into monthly and quarterly program reviews
•Ensure program is adequately funded and coordinates customer billings.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related analytical discipline and 8 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience; OR Master’s Degree and 6 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience; OR and equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a Finance or Business Management role
• SAP experience is required
Other Desired Qualifications Include:
• Experience working in Aerospace and Defense/government contract accounting; knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) preferred.
• Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills are required
• Team player with ability to influence and motivate others to support and optimize program financial performance
• Strong communication skills - both written and oral
• Strong analytical skills - Data Analysis, Pricing, Planning and Program Controls
• Strong background in the use of Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel
• Hands-on, Self-Starter with ability to multitask and work effectively across departments and with internal and external customers

May Inspect shipping documents on a computer screen for 60-70 % of the work day.
