This position supports tasking for PMA-265 F/A-18 Program Office, NAVAIR Head Quarters in Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidate will provide Programmatic Support for the Australian F/A-18 Program. Tasking will include a wide range of duties in support of this effort.
• Collecting, organizing and interpreting technical and financial information to assist in the integration of program management information utilizing Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Access, Work, PowerPoint, SharePoint and/or Project.
• Providing problem solving expertise and analysis of programmatic, engineering, and financial data to assist in the development of required integration designs, and production and management of data/information tools and reports.
• Using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to write macros designed to create more robust integration between tools and/or user-friendly navigation.
• Working with colleagues on a SharePoint database to provide an automated information system of programmatic information supporting coordination, communication and integration within the Australian F/A-18 program team.
Education/Experience: Education/Experience: A BS or BA Degree in a Business, Management or a relevant technical discipline and at least four (4) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis discipline is required. Included in the four (4) years of experience there must be at least two (2) years professional experience in technical efforts. Allowable Substitution: An AS or AA Degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; or an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA Degree.
Experience with the Microsoft Office productivity suite specifically Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word is required. Demonstration of experience and skills will be required. This can be through hands on demonstration, through educational records of software languages learned, training credentials, or other proofs of application development experience.
Education/experience is a contract requirement.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated knowledge of DoD and US Navy policy and procedures related to defense acquisition programs (i.e. DoD 5000 series) and/or Foreign Military Sales/Security Assistance programs is desired. Excellent communication skills are necessary.
