This position supports F/A-18 FMS acquisition and sustainment efforts. The candidate analyzes program requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs program management, technical or business case analysis. Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified Integrated Program Team (IPT) and IPT directed business meetings. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies policies and procedures for financial planning.
Education/Experience: A Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of experience in a program management, technical or business analysis discipline is required. Included in the four (4) years there must be two (2) years of professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapons system and components development. An Associate's Degree and an additional four (4) years of experience or an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree. Demonstrated experience in program/project status and schedules, demonstrated knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, life cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series), and experience with processing program acquisition, funding and contract documentations for military programs is desired.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of USN correspondence development practices is desired. Ability to develop briefing materials and meeting minutes is desired. Candidate should be able to perform research, provide analysis, document findings and determinations and provide associated recommendations. The ability to construct formal correspondence using MS Word, MS Power Point and Excel is highly desired. Applicant must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.
