HEICO is looking for a Product Development Analyst who will contribute to determining market potential and sales opportunities for individual aerospace parts by analyzing usage data, aircraft fleet data and trends, airline and overhaul shop maintenance capabilities and procedures, competition, current pricing strategies, and aircraft, engine, component technical publications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Analyze customer supplied data to aid in the selection of new product opportunities.

* Researching technical documents associated with commercial aviation, e.g. Illustrated Parts Catalogs, Engine Manuals, Service Bulletins, and Component Maintenance Manuals etc.

* Perform as a financial analyst to confirm a product’s viability (NPV, margin, ROI, cash flow, etc.)

* Provide recommendations and analysis to Director of New Product Development.

* Working directly with our various Business Unit Leaders, Sales Directors and Strategic Contract Managers to obtain product development information.

* Assist in assigning new projects to the Business Units.

* Update Product Development Database as new customers, applications, usage, pricing, or other data becomes available.

Job Requirements :

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivilant work experience

EXPERIENCE

* Proficiency analyzing raw data with Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros)

* Able to transform large, raw data sets into information critical to product/business decision-making

* Experience or interest in aerospace/aviation a plus

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE OR ABILITIES

Language/Communication Skills: Excellent both verbal and written skills. Ability to make effective presentations.

Computer Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel). Must have Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.

Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to problem solve and provide solutions.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to details and ability to multitask and prioritize...

Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to work in both a team environment and independently. Ability to effectively interact with Team Members of all levels.

Customer Service Skills: Highly responsive to internal and external customer requirements.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Majority of job is sedentary. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. unassisted.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment, low noise level.
