Position Summary:

* As Process Performance Engineer, you will provide technical assistance (methods, products, etc.) to the Production teams, with the aim of optimizing the industrial process, whilst observing safety, cost, quality and lead-time criteria.

* You will be a driving force for the implementation of appropriate solutions (methods, processes and organisation) to meet company requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Producing PERT/GANTT diagrams

* Program Evaluation Review Techniques diagrams are developed to identify task dependencies.

* Producing line balancing for each MSN.

* Defining the critical cycle => Industrial or => Technical

* Analyzing industrial capacities

* Calculating the workforce and resources

* Contributing to the definition of the industrial architecture

* Studying and optimizing flows

* The time management focal point for the Final Assembly Line (FAL) meaning you are the person that completes the calculation for how long a process should take in an ideal state.

* Defining stations to be analyzed => master plan

* Deviations and Initial Allocated Time/time spent objectives, Performance

* Process modification

* Station optimization

* Direct interaction with Operations team

* Detecting and analyzing malfunctions

* Updating time baselines

* Updating workloads

* Processing improvement proposals

* Align (AOS) Airbus Operating System focus areas to the established plan.

Additional Responsibilities:

Other duties as assigned: 10%

* Lead special projects assigned by manager.

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:

* Required: Candidate must have a 2-year qualification in engineering/mechanical engineering/electrical engineering/production management/manufacturing engineering.

Experience:

* Required: 2 Years Manufacturing Experience

* Preferred: Experienced in facilitation leading a teams through activities

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

* Comfortable speaking in front of a group.

Travel Required:

* 5 % Domestic and International (As needed when a specific issue arises but should not be more than 1 week per year.)

Eligibility:

* Authorized to Work in the US

Decision Making, Complexity:

Provide several examples of the types of decisions or recommendations made in performing the responsibilities of this position. Describe the degree independent decision making, environment, interfaces, internationalization, and change factors.

* Candidate will be responsible for working directly with Operations to understand the critical path workflow and make the decision to complete request to change established plan or modify.

Organizational information:

This Position falls underneath Technical Support which consists of Manufacturing Engineering, MAP Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Planning & Jigs and Tools.

Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success:

* This position is directly linked with our base (STV) Standard Time Values that help justify how long each one of our job packages will take to complete. This activity help support the required number of operators required for each station.

* Efficiency % KPI's Direct support understanding if we are completing the required work in the allotted time.

Physical Requirements:

* Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions

* Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.

* Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.

* Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg which engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects.

* Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 30lbs/14kg.

* Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas and on shop floor.

* Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings.

* Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves.

* Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information.
