ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We are reviewing resumes for Pneudraulic Systems Mechanics to support our government customer at Hill Air Force Base. This position may remain posted even when there are no an actual vacancies; qualified applicants will be contacted should a position arise. This position may require the ability to work a swing or graveyard shift. Qualified candidates will also need to be able to obtain a DoD security clearance if an active clearance is not held. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Determine, repair or replace defective parts. * Reassemble, check, and troubleshoot malfunctions * Test servo pneudraulic or servo mechanical accessories and any electrical component thereof * Test units on test stand by attaching electrical and pneudraulic connections, and vacuum hoses * Switch on electrical/mechanical outputs or inputs and note the responses of the accessory undergoing test * Install companion units that are functionally required in order that temperatures or loads may be used in the bench check, repair or overhaul of the item subject to test * Obtain readings under varying conditions and make appropriate graphs or charts to record performance of the end item * Be continually on the alert, under varying test conditions, to discover any improper signal or visual pattern * Run multiple tests on end item and operate over several shifts in order to complete required tests * Utilize knowledge of the set up operation of electronic and pneudraulic test equipment which are designed to record the electrical impulses generated by the unit tested * Convert, compute, and interpret test data, response patterns and performance curves using algebraic formula, plotting charts, and automatic recording equipment * Apply knowledge of varying electronic and fluid flow schematics Education and Experience Requirements * This position requires a minimum of two years of well-rounded training and experience, usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience * Skills required include – (DOL 23820) Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic * High school diploma or equivalent required Physical Demands Work will require a high level of hand dexterity and finger use in both hands, close vision corrected/uncorrected to 20/20, prolonged periods of standing and sitting in combination with stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing, as well as ability to lift 25lbs and over with assistance. Work Environment (ADA) May be required to work in areas in the hangar and on the flight line that are noisy and dusty. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment, when applicable. Security Clearance * This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a government background check, and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
