Plans and schedules work flow from Engineering Design to Materials acquisition and in house or subcontract manufacturing to expedite production by performing the following duties.

Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.

Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation and other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers.

Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.

Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.

Assists in the review of project schedules and work orders.Assists in establishing priorities for specific project releases.

Creates manufacturing job numbers and inputs the drawing bill of materials for assigned drawing releases.

Creates Work package, including travelers, requisitions and stock room pick lists.

Updates manload schedules, and Level II schedules on assigned jobs.

Prepares production reports from Level II status reports Prepares lists of required materials, tools, and equipment. Prepares purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.


High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six months experience in related environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Microsoft Office, AutoDesk, Syteline and MRP software preferred.

Accountable for the control and distribution of documents and/or equipment subject to export control restrictions and the security of FlightSafety materials, projects and business information regarding the methods and techniques used in the production and usage of FlightSafety products.

Accountable for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.

Able to adhere to a work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.
