European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. It is an aircraft maintenance company as well as a cargo airline. EAT Leipzig’s fleet consists of 34 aircraft, including Airbus A300-600, A330-200 and Boeing 757. At present, destinations in Europe, Africa, North America and the Middle East are approached. The company currently employs approximately 1000 staff at its bases at Leipzig/Halle airport and in Brussels.

YOUR TASKS

  • Coordinate aircraft routing within the DHL Network and    implement changes where necessary
  • Plan, control and monitor daily maintenance activities at home base, as well as at outstations
  • Coordinate and assign maintenance tasks to external service providers if necessary
  • Single point of contact regarding the technical status of supervised fleets, contact person for flight crews, support departments, as well as service providers and operators

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed apprenticeship as aircraft mechanic and at least 3 years’ experience with wide body aircraft 
  • Aircraft Maintenance License “Certifying Staff” by EASA Part-66, Category B1 or B2 
  • Well-versed in handling computer systems such as MS-Office, AIMS, AMOS, TRAX, Netline, etc.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • Willing to work in shifts
  • Resistant to stress and structured working method in a complex environment
