Job Description:

This Manufacturing Engineering position will have a wide array of responsibilities focused on establishing, maintaining and improving production flow and product quality during assembly and test of Inertial Measurement Units (IMU). Significant roles include Investigation and resolution of technical production issues as they relate to the electromechanical IMU assembly or the associated test equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Project manage set-up of new or modification of existing manufacturing lines including assembly and test.
* Analyze production rejects and provide disposition of quality notices on product
* Create yield reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing reject information and trends
* Establish/review manufacturing processes and identify improvement opportunities that support efficient product flow and/or cost reduction and lead/assist in implementation of solutions
* Interface and work with other design, manufacturing and test engineers including counterparts in the UK
* Compose and edit manufacturing instructions and test procedures
* Create Maintain and upgrade databases associated with build and test data

Qualification:
* Ability to work and effectively communicate in a team environment.
* Capable of reading drawing and schematics
* Preferred programming experience in Visual Basic, Labview, Access databases and other programming languages
* Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Knowledge and experience with electro-mechanical assemblies a plus
* Knowledge of analog and digital electrical circuits a plus
* SAP experience a plus
* Knowledge and experience with inertial measurement systems a plus
* Working Conditions – Physical requirements and environment –
* Office environment and manufacturing environment involving hazardous materials
* 20% - Occasional travel, domestic and international
