Duties: -Manager is looking for entry level candidates that they can train to their requirements. -Military background with A&P license is preferred. -Perform hands-on servicing and assembly of rocket engines and related test facility and support equipment at a customer or company facility. -Servicing and assembly includes performing maintenance and repairs; -replacing line Replaceable Units(LRUs) ; -conducting product testing diagnostics, -overhauling hardware, -integrating product with ground systems, payloads or flight/launch vehicles. -Use experience to independently perform work at multiple locations. -Locate and correct malfunctions or discrepancies in development/flight hardware and associated ground support equipment. -Interpret data and assist engineering in diagnosing non-conformances.
Skills: -An in-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, various measuring and testing devices, and experience with hand tools is essential/required. -Possess the ability to understand and interpret required engineering drawings, instructions, and technical manuals. -Assembly experience required -Aerospace background with a minimum of 2 yearsâ€™ experience preferred -A&P license or military equivalent proficiency test preferred
Education: -Requires an Associate's degree in a related discipline and 1-2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
