Our client is establishing a new maintenance center in El Salvador and we are looking for a Materials Administrator to join them. As the Materials Administrator you will track, control and substantiate data requirements for aircraft and component usage and elapsed time through the use of a computerized aircraft records management system that meet FAA requirements

 

Role: Materials Administrator

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

· Maintains accurate and complete permanent files by aircraft and Components in accordance with far 121.380, 121.380a, 43.11, and 145.61. Includes inspections, modifications, service bulletins, airworthiness Directives and tracking components.

· Audits and processes incoming aircraft maintenance logs, maintenance and customer job orders, aircraft inspection work packages, engineering Orders and authorizations, service bulletins, computer reports, Serviceable/repairable parts tags, and shop routing tags.

· Determines the hourly, calendar or cyclic life limit on components Installed or removed from an aircraft or rotable assembly, in Accordance with chapter 5 (tci) of the policy and procedures manual, to define its operating limitations and modifications status. 

· Inputs and verifies data to a computerized system for documenting Modifications and maintenance significant items to aircraft and Components.

· Verifies my clients and vendor documents for accuracy, completeness, and Technical content.  Obtains resolutions for inaccuracies, incompleteness, and lack of technical content.  Verifies the accuracy and completeness of all computer output reports against data input documents processed.

· Performs record verification of all maintenance repair data (green tags, work cards, and vendor release forms) to ensure the data base is Complete and accurate. Audit, review and obtain corrections on delivery documents with engineers, maintenance managers, program managers, planners, and representatives from other airlines when my client buys, sells or leases aircraft and components.

· Identifies and resolves discrepancies on maintenance documents with sub-contract vendors.  Includes verification of ad accomplishment and records content at the sellers headquarters.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Two years college (or equivalent) 
· Two years technical experience in research and audit of aircraft records

· Knowledge with ATA 100 specs codification, aircraft terminology and FAR'S 121.380, 121.380A, 43.9, 43.11 and 145.61. 

· Good leadership and communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel software
  • Good administrative and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and be flexible
  • Ability to adjust to language and cultural differences
