ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We are reviewing resumes for experienced Material Coordinators in support of current and future work at Hill AFB, UT. This position may remain posted even when there are no active vacancies. Candidates being considered will be required to pass an in-depth government background check prior to beginning work, and may require the ability to ultimately obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities * Reviews production schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material required * Arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, and with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation to various departments * Examines material delivered to production departments to verify if type specified * Monitors and controls movement of material and parts along conveyor system, using remote-control panel board * Computes amount of material needed for specific job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes * Compiles report of quantity and type of material on hand, transports material from one department to another using hand or industrial truck * Compiles perpetual production records in order to locate material in process of production, using manual or computerized system Education and Experience Requirements * High school diploma or equivalent is required * 2+ years of related experience is required * Must be able to able to work a day, swing or mid-shift schedule Physical Demands Work will require a high level of hand dexterity and finger use in both hands, prolonged periods of standing and sitting in combination with stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing, as well as ability to lift 25lbs and over with assistance. Work Environment (ADA) May be required to work in areas in the hangar and on the flight line that are noisy and dusty. May be exposed to moderate discomforts, such as heat, cold and wind. May be required to wear personal protective equipment, when applicable. Security Clearance * This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
