Cathay Pacific Airways is looking for a dynamic and creative multitasker to join our Brand Marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support Marketing Services Supervisor and marketing team with overarching project management, event management and administrative support
  • Assist with development and distribution of marketing and sales materials for external and internal stakeholders
  • Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards in all projects
  • Keep promotional materials up to date by coordinating requirements with design department such as sourcing images, checking copy, managing inventory etc.
  • Plan and manage Marco Polo Club recognition events and initiatives
  • Support PR initiatives as needed, including sponsored events, contests, community relations etc.



  • Liaise with corporate sales teams in various marketing initiatives such as developing sales collateral, brochures, PowerPoint presentations, videos etc.
  • Responsible for planning and execution of trade marketing events and conferences
  • Work with third party vendors, such as hotels and tourism boards on promotional opportunities
  • Assist with planning North America loyalty marketing initiatives and partner promotions, such as Asia Miles offers and member recruitment
  • Oversee the “Miles for Me” program catered for travel agents, including website maintenance and responding to online inquiries



  • Administrative duties including processing vendor invoices, liaising with prize winners and coordinating travel itineraries
  • Assist with internal communications and planning employee events
  • Assisting team with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects as requested
  • Maintain inventory of promotional materials.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience preferred
  • Some domestic travel required
  • Strong consumer copywriting background preferred
  • Minimum 1 year marketing/ PR experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Proactive self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a group
  • Strong analytical skills, with emphasis on data analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized and resourceful
  • Knowledge of US media ideal
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Travel industry and GDS experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.  No sponsorship for employment visa status is available for this position.
