The Boeing Company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Large Aircraft Spares Engineering team, a Boeing Global Services Logistics Products & Services organization, in Oklahoma City, OK.
Responsibilities include the following:
As an early career Manufacturing Engineer (Level 2), you will review and generate technical data packages for spares proposals and execution. The Large Aircraft Spares Engineering team supports the technical requirements for fabrication and procurement of spares for military aircraft such as B-1, B-52, KC-135, and E-3. You must be able to work in a cross-functional work environment including engineering, quality, product support, supplier management, and program management. This position will report to the Large Aircraft Spares Engineering Manager in Oklahoma City.
This is an engineering role. Your duties will include:
- Building technical technical data packages for use by suppliers.
- Developing and implementing manufacturing plans.
- Resolving technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule.
- Analyzing design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirements.
You will be expected to support team performance by:
- Participating in process/tool improvement projects.
- Working under limited supervision to support timely delivery of spare parts and proposals.

The position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering
Must meet Export Control compliance requirements
1 or more years of experience working as a manufacturing engineer or planner
1 or more years of experience with drawings and Engineering system
Knowledge of manufacturing methods and fabrication processes desired (e.g., forming, stamping, machining,heat treatment, machines/machine tools, cutting tools, etc.);
Experience in service-oriented engineering organization desired; Post-production technical experience with emphasis in military aircraft sustainment, repairs, spares, and modification programs preferred
Experience participating on multi-skilled teams across functional boundaries desired
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
