The Manufacturing Cell Leader establishes and maintains delivery, quality, and rate readiness performance objectives and targets to meet/exceed customer On-Time-Delivery (OTD) and quality expectations and maintain delivery continuity. This role directs performance of skilled manufacturing operations such as sheet metal assembly, composite assembly, and electrical assembly and paint applications. This position is responsible for planning and allocation of resources, materials and scheduling of equipment for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. The Cell Leader is responsible for a major portion of operations within the facility managing the work of multiple manufacturing production disciplines.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Cell Leader shall be responsible to:

* Manage a team of primarily intermediate or experienced professionals
* Set objectives and guide others on execution/approach for achievement of operational results
* Direct scheduling and sequencing of work, as well as production innovation to optimize production
* Analyze team capacity and production data to determine manufacturing processes and required resources
* Manage a team of Supervisors to ensure all quality related items are complete and documented utilizing daily Real Time Problem Resolution(RTPR) process
* Direct cost reduction and process improvement to ensure efficiency of operations and cost effectiveness
* Direct scheduling to meet production schedules
* Set the sequencing of work, such as build and delivery, to optimize productivity
* Lead materials and logistics problem resolution to ensure availability of materials and smooth operation
* Manage multiple cells' performance to maximize productivity
* Direct production innovation, including additive manufacturing, to enhance production capabilities
* Relate with customers to understand customer needs and issues and ensure that the customers receive satisfactory standards of services
* Evaluate and monitor employee performance through performance connections, developing performance objectives, coaching and counseling and providing and documenting appropriate training
* Champion the organization’s culture and communicate vision and goals regularly
* Ensure team conformance to Business Unit policies and procedure
* Actively support compliance with EH&S policies and regulatory requirements
* Promote an ethics based business culture throughout the team
* Communicate professionally and effectively
* Other duties as assigned

Qualification: Qualifications:
* At least 18 years of age or older
* Ability to provide verification of US Citizenship, permanent residency or appropriate work VISA
* Willing to relocate to Foley, Alabama: relocation assistance is available
* Exceptional written and verbal communication
* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, managers or employees
* Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
* General knowledge of employment laws and practices
* General knowledge of financial reporting
* Knowledge of production operations safety requirements
* Experience overseeing production shop practices and procedures with knowledge of manufacturing operations
* Advanced understanding of Lean Manufacturing processes and tools
* Experienced in problem solving, planning and project management
* Experience maximizing time, priority and stress management skills in a face paced environment meeting deadline while maintaining a customer oriented demeanor
* Ability to work cooperatively with leaders, peers, customers, and others in a team environment displaying mutual trust and respect
* Ability to lead and motivate diverse work groups

Working Environment

* Ability to maintain focus regarding safety, quality and productivity
* Ability to be regular and predictable in attendance
* Willing to travel and work extended hours as needed to meet/exceed customer expectations
* Ability to work in a manufacturing production shop environment with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and other PPE as needed for 8+ hours per day
* Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and comply with policies, applicable regulatory, safety and company rules and requirements, operating instructions, procedures and governmental regulations

* BA/BS degree w/ 6-10+ years related experience
* MA/MS degree w/ 4-7+ years related experience
