Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

The Manager of Staffing Efficiency will be responsible for the successful budget and day of planning of operational employee requirements by:

* Overseeing the implementation and ongoing execution of a “day-of” staffing software solution

* This includes distribution of handheld devices to employee workgroups as the definition of day-of task assignment evolves

* Overseeing the current and future application of the staff planning tool

* Ensure that planning and day of software tools stay in sync

* Lead further review between planned requirements and actual requirements through the coordinated use of both tools

* Lead efforts to migrate staff planning to new software

Minimum Qualifications:

* Previous experience with airline operations staff forecasting

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and One Note

* Ability to travel

* Positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Management Systems, or equivalent field

* Sabre StaffPlanner Software or equivalent airline staff modeling software

* Sabre StaffManager Software or equivalent airline staff modeling software

* Airline SSIM schedule formatting

* SABRE Schedule Manager Software

* Previous airline ground operations experience

* Previous operations staff schedule development

* Previous industrial engineering or process improvement experience

* Six-Sigma certification

Work Environment:

* Standard office environment, use of computers and other office equipment

* Some travel is required (about 30%)

* Some airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels

Physical Requirements:

Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
