The Manager, US Facilities and Workplace Services is responsible for the 24X7 day to day facility related administrative duties. This includes the management of tactical and strategic space management, facility presentation and workplace safety including, the management of the building security personnel, janitorial services and food services.

50 %: Responsible for managing the building security which includes a third party vendor relationship for all US locations. This includes ensuring all security related software and hardware are operational at all times (i.e. camera's, security gates, card readers, etc.) and ensuring vendor maintains a qualified and trained 24X7 staff.

30%: Responsible for the facility workplace services of all US locations inclusive of janitorial, furniture, HVAC, mail room, café/employee meals, print services and other related categories. Responsible for the budget creation and adherence to the budge as well as compliance with city, state, and federal codes. Manages multiple vendors on a national basis. Is the primary stakeholder interacting with Procurement on these categories. 10% travel is required.

20%: Responsible for providing space planning, utilization and reporting for all sites within the US. Manages vendors who are contracted for projects that include preliminary and final drawing for moves, additions and modifications. These moves often include floor/furniture plans, mechanical, electrical and plumbing, facility design diagrams and other related space planning items. Role requires confidentiality and discreteness as the position interacts with Executive Management regarding confidential space forecasting.


Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Course of Study/Major: Business Administration or related field
Related Work Experience: 4-6 years

  • Experience working within a corporate real estate team
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Strong analytical and creative skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple simultaneous tasks and projects
  • Intermediate to expert PC skills including an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and working command of Microsoft Project; Auto CAD and CAFM a plus 
  • Ability to be on call 24/7/365
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand building specifications a plus
  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 10%
