The Manager, Employee Programs and Communication is responsible for the overall event management and communication strategies for the Worldport, supporting over 6,900 ACS and Cargo employees.

Primary Functions:
-Manages a team that supports the communication and event management for ATL.
-Oversight of ATL material services team and facility, which supports the organization and employees with operational and brand critical supplies such as uniform items, safety vest and other operational supplies.
-Leading the ACS and Cargo FIT for ATL. This includes, but not limited to, monthly FIT meetings, coordination of FIT days, and divisional FIT communications.
-Coordinate all PER communication and training for ATL.
-Manage budget for all employee events and supplies.
-Manages vendor relationships with tech companies and other suppliers related to communications and employee events
-Crafts professional messages for the Senior Vice President on various communication topics.
-Develops internal communication vehicles providing clear and concise messaging in support of corporate priorities, divisional strategies and station initiatives.
-Creates professional presentations, memos and talking points for senior leadership, including Senior Vice President, Managing Directors, Directors and General Managers.
-Manages the DeltaVison closed circuit television communication strategy for the Worldport, including overseeing the creation and execution of written and video communication.
-Manages the strategies for messaging to front-line employees such as, social media, texting, newsletters and leadership messages. Maintains social media page regarding swaps.
-Responsible for managing Worldport website and all event planning for the Worldport. This also includes cross divisional events such as Relay for Life, Breast Cancer Awareness, CMN, etc. for the entire ATL operation.
-Oversees and manages all communications related to ATL mentor project to include coordination of updates, completion of projects and presentations.
-Maintain/build working relationships with corporate and other divisional communication teams. Responsible to coordinate with other divisions as directed by Corporate Communications on corporate initiatives.
-Develops both strategic and tactical plans that create a safety-conscious environment resulting in employee safety and well-being.

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required with extensive experience in written and verbal communication strategies.
-Must be able to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment and be a self-starter and highly motivated.
-Must have strong working knowledge and experience with computers and key software including: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
-Experience in social media communication is preferred.
-Must have the ability to exercise sound judgment, be highly motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
-Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.
-Must have the flexibility to varying shifts, extended hours, and "on call" requirements based on operational needs
