Job Description

The Manager – Integrated Marketing (B2B) manages the team that develops and executes cross-channel marketing strategies that assists the Global Sales team to win new clients and secure existing relationships.   Responsibilities also include managing the American Airlines Vacation (AAV) team that creates and executes the marketing strategy for both the Travel Agency and Consumer market.  The position leads cross-functional and partner teams in creating, planning, and implementing marketing campaigns that drive the overall brand perception with both the B2B and Vacation consumer audience.  This high-visibility position resides at the intersection of Integrated Marketing, Global Sales, and AAV, reporting directly to the Director, Global Marketing. 



  • Serve as critical global partner with key internal stakeholders in both Global Sales and AAV
  • Work with Global Sales and AAV leadership to develop and execute multi-channel campaigns that strengthens brand perception
  • Create strategic marketing campaigns for key initiatives that clearly articulate the American global value proposition
  • Work with the external advertising agency and the in-house creative service team to create both paid and owned marketing materials
  • Liaise with the Global Sales and AAV team to keep informed of the wants and needs of the field and the competitive landscape
  • Creatively weave in the American Airline’s brand story into high profile industry events and  sponsorship opportunities
  • Build a strong trusted network within the Marketing, Sales, and AAV organizations

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership, communication, creative thinking, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Highly motivated individual with high level of initiative, creativity, collaboration and follow-up in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across multiple departments
  • Proficiency managing simultaneous projects and maintaining up-to-date timelines
  • Demonstrated track record of producing effective materials, including: hand-outs, pitch decks, email campaigns, print, and digital/web advertising
  • Knowledge of airline sales, American’s Global Sales organization, and industry demands is a plus
  • Integrated marketing experience/ contract negotiation experience/strategic planning
  • Excellent presentation, communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA a plus; Business/Marketing/Relationship Management knowledge preferred​
