We are looking for a dynamic candidate with exceptional communications and collaboration skills to join our team in the Product Communications Department, using integrated global communications strategies that support company objectives. The candidate will work closely with the global communications team and the aftermarket services team to identify opportunities, plan and execute initiatives that position Pratt & Whitney as the engine and service provider of choice internally and to external stakeholders including media, customers and third-party influencers.

Specific responsibilities of position: As a member of the Pratt & Whitney’s Communications department, you will play a strategic leadership role to promote our world-class engines and global services portfolio.

Responsibilities:
•Create and implement comprehensive and integrated communications plans that support the organization’s goals, key messages and business and employee engagement goals.
•Identify external opportunities to generate greater awareness of products and services
•Prepare messaging for aftermarket programs for various high profile announcements and events. Counsel senior leaders and prepare them to serve as company spokespersons.
•Create communications plans, write press releases, Q&A briefings, talking points and speeches. Coordinate major announcements and events, including media relations and customer communications.
•With the digital/social media team, develop compelling content for digital and social media company channels, including Pratt & Whitney’s Airtime Blog
•Work closely with global Pratt & Whitney team members on company-wide communications initiatives.
•Highlight business unit contributions and successes by creating content for company-wide communications.
•Work with the sales and marketing organizations to develop strategic messaging and materials, and represent company at external events as needed
•Working with internal resources and agencies, support and align communications with policies, branding, advertising, standards, messages, and initiatives, using communications standard work.
•Assist in developing and maintaining Web-based communications to support broader integrated communications efforts.

Qualifications required: The candidate should have 10 or more years of broad communications or marketing experience, preferably in aerospace, engineering or manufacturing industries. The successful candidate will also possess:
•Strong writing and communication skills.
•Excellent spoken and written English skills and a working knowledge of French is required.
•The ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure.
•Strong leadership, interpersonal and team skills.
•Experience with external communications, digital communications, and communications measurement. •Experience working in a multinational business for a global audience.
•Experience interacting with senior executives.

Field of studies: Communication, Marketing

Additional Information: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field required. Master’s degree in communications, marketing or business administration preferred.
