The Maintenance Technical Training Instructor is responsible to assist in training new hire personnel as outlined in MM-01 Mtx training syllabus for each job description. This may be accomplished by initiating Computer Based Training (CBT) Courses, Classroom, On-the-Job hands on training, and includes read and initial notifications, as well as Silver Service Letters.

Possess a current FAA Airframe and Power plant Certificate
Be familiar the policies and procedures contained within the Company Manuals, FAR’s, CMM’s, Maintenance Programs, Technical Writing Skills, and familiar with other Technical Training Aids.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills while possessing proficiency with Microsoft Office products, Computer Based Training Systems, and Computerized Maintenance Tracking Systems such as TRAX.

Responsible to assist in managing the training program and ensuring that Company maintenance personnel are knowledgeable of Company Policies and Procedures, professional development, FAA and other regulatory agency guidelines, as well as the technical aspects of their jobs.

Coordinating with the DOM, DQC, DOE, and Manager of Technical Training in developing training programs course syllabi as required for new Training Programs.

Monitoring the Continuous Analysis and Surveillance System Program for future course requirements and improvements to existing training modules. As well as development of new curriculum as required by the CASS Board.

Must be knowledgeable and able to act as a Subject Matter Experts (SME) in aircraft systems, training aide usage, simple training methods, capable to develop required training checklists, and perform classroom instruction.

Manage required recurrent training courses, to include tracking, scheduling, updating, and advising the Manager of Technical Training of any issues.

Keeping abreast of regulatory and industry best practice training standards and constantly seeks new and improved training methods and formats to enhance the Silver Training Program.

Conserving and protecting Company funds, property and materials.
Notifying the DOE of any problems encountered while performing his duties.

The Technical Training Instructor is responsible for identifying and reporting possible safety risks in maintenance operations.

He is responsible for ensuring that pre-employment Airman Certificate currency and validity procedures are adhered to and each employee has the appropriate certificates and are up to date.

Audit training records to ensure of all required documents are in each employees file.

Maintaining the classroom and work area in a neat and orderly manner.

Other duties as assigned by Management.
