Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong oral and written communication skills.  Ability to read, write, and fluently speak and understand the English language. Detail oriented with the ability to be able to work in a fast paced environment in a professional manner. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required. Working knowledge of aircraft inspections and maintenance programs preferred. 3-5 years of experience in production or maintenance planning.  1-3 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
Responsibilities: The Maintenance Planning supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Maintenance Planning Department.  The Maintenance Planning Supervisor reports to the Maintenance Planning Manager and is responsible for the following:  
  1. Oversee the daily activities of the Maintenance Planners
  2. Ensure new employees receive proper and adequate training, as well as recurrent training. 
  3. Monitor Daily Planner to ensure an equalized maintenance program and proper base utilization. 
  4. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all necessary reports as required by maintenance planning.
  5. Ensure that established policies and procedures are followed by the maintenance planners.
  6. Maintain the technical and company manuals used in Maintenance Planning.
  7. Perform duties of the maintenance planner as required.
  8. Recommend changes or new procedures to improve department and system performance.
  9. Any other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Planning Manager.
