One of our US Government customers is greatly expanding its efforts to collect, research, process, analyze and collate open source data, especially social media, to illuminate and expand on its understanding of trends, events and attitudes in foreign countries that may affect US national security issues. Delex Systems has a long history of partnership with this customer and is building the capability to respond to these emerging requirements. Primary Duties and Responsibilities As a Linguist/Translator/Collector on a team of professionals working on issues supporting US Navy and US European Command requirements, you will be working with a team of linguists and analysts looking at issues of immense importance to the security of the United States. You will be performing collection and translation of high priority materials and will be relied upon for highly accurate translations of important matters and placing them into context for enhanced understanding of events. You will be supporting development of new collection capabilities and analytical projects. You will be working in a classified environment in an integrated government and contractor team accessing both open source and highly classified data using advanced analysis and collection tools. Education and Experience Requirements Minimum: 1. This position requires a current TS clearance and eligibility for SCI access. 2. Minimum Language Proficiency of 2/2 DLPT (or ILR equivalent) in Russian certified within the last 3 years. Documented experience in translating Russian to English. 3. 2 years experience in Russian Open Source research OR Russian language social media. 4. 3 years experience in writing at the college level and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. 5. Have experience and knowledge of military terminology.4 Years of Military/Intelligence Community experience4 Years of Military/Intelligence Community experience 6. Years of Military/Intelligence Community experience Desired: 1. 6 Years of Military/Intelligence Community experience. 2. Minimum Language Proficiency of 3/3 DLPT (or ILR equivalent) in Russian certified within the last 3 years. Documented experience in translating Russian to English. 3. 4 years experience in Russian Open Source research OR Russian language social media. 4. 6 years experience in writing at the college level and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. 5. Experience in supporting human intelligence operations or activities is highly beneficial. Security Clearance This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance.
