ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for a Junior Systems Administrator I (SA) to assist in the maintenance of all Automated Information Systems (AIS) for a program office based in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Candidate will work as Junior Systems Administrator I supporting daily Data Center Operations in a secure computing environment. These systems will be maintained in accordance with the Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities * Anti-Virus Updates * Perform system reboots (as required) * Informing system users about planned system outages or changes * Monitoring server performance and working with senior staff to take appropriate corrective actions to resolve issues * Review Server log files * Monitor Scheduled tasks: vulnerability scanning and data recovery jobs * Providing Tier I Desktop support to General Users * Account Management: unlocking accounts, assign group membership and disabling inactive accounts Education and Experience Requirements * High School diploma and 1 year of experience or a degree in Information Technology * 1 year related experience, Minimum 1 year experience in Systems Administration working in a DoD classified environment (military, government civilian, DoD contractor) * Certifications: Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570. 01-M regarding Information Assurance Workforce requirements for Systems Administration Requirements: * The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously * Meets DoD 8570.01-M requirements * Written and verbal communication skills * Must be able to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of employment Security Clearance * This position will require U.S. citizenship and a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information ZENETEX is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
