Mechanical, structural, and hydraulic assembly and installation of motion, visual, control loading, secondary control, hydraulic power unit and hydraulic plumbing systems. Installation of simulators and associated equipment in house and in the field. Assist Facility Engineers liaison Site personnel.
Deternine rigging methods and procedures for relatively large and/or heavy assemblies, and implement and accomplish the safe completion of the lifting task. Know the load bearing properties of ropes, cables, hoists and cranes.
Assembly and install simulator systems. Perform initial check out, repair, and upgrade of mechanical, visual, and all hydraulic systems.
Fabricate structural and enclosure assemblies, hydraulic hoses, steel tubing, and brackets when necessary.
Required to direct and or coordinate outside crews (riggers, welders, plumbers, electricians).
Verify accuracy and interface of visual, motion, and structural components per project requirements.
Extensive travel and overtime maybe required. Must be able to travel both domestic and international.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of two years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A&P license is equal to one year experience.
Understanding of Forklift and manlift operations, rigging equipment preferred. Prior experience with power tools and hand tools.
