Position Description

Strategic Human Resources leadership opportunity with one of the largest independent aviation service businesses in the world. StandardAero provides comprehensive services to commercial, military, business aviation, helicopters and industrial operators. The company has over 3,700 employees working out of facilities strategically located in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia and serving customers from over 80 different countries. This position is for PAS Technologies, a Division of StandardAero.

*Member of the PAS Technologies Phoenix, AZ leadership team.

*Site HR Leader for the PAS Phoenix location.

*Contribute to Human Resources leadership team for Components sector and StandardAero Enterprise as required.

*HR support for 85 employees, managers and other leaders within the Phoenix location. Responsible for handling all aspects of the HR function.

*Lead recruiting, candidate selection, employee and team development, change management, and compensation planning for client group.

*Provide advice, counsel and support for benefits, training, compliance programs and HR Information Systems to client group.

*Administers policies and procedures for employment, placement, termination and employee transfers. Ensures the consistent and equitable application of organization policies and procedures.

*Takes appropriate actions to address and resolve employee relations issues.

*Guides client leaders through a process of developing answers, solutions, and/or strategies to deal fairly, legally and effectively with people-related matters.

*Carries out other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements

*Bachelor's degree in a field related to Human Resources; Master's degree preferred.

*Five (5) years experience in Human Resources Leadership.

*PHR or SPHR certification desirable

*Must be authorized to work in the United States.

*Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational, decision making, oral and written communication skills.

*Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulatory environments.

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

*Skilled in employee relations, staffing, leadership coaching and change management.

*Creative out-of-the-box thinker.

*Strategic; good professional presence; strong planning and organizational skills.

*Skilled in Microsoft office products – Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook

*Bilingual in Spanish a plus
