The Human Resources Generalist supports the Human Resources department by maintaining compliance, completing projects as assigned, and enhancing the department through planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. This position will focus on recruiting and employee relations support.

Job Responsibilities:

* Provides guidance and support in a variety of HR functions including recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations

* Collects and analyzes HR data, makes recommendations to business unit and HR management

* Assist with the development and distribution of internal employee communications

* Maintain HRIS and personnel files in compliance with applicable legal or Company requirements

* Utilize employee feedback tools (new hire/stay/exit interviews etc.)

* Complete requested employee forms and verifications

* Perform internal audits of department process and practice

* Provide back up for the front office as needed

* Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

* Consults with business unit management in the tactical planning process and development of HR strategies that support the unit’s business needs

* Assist in the development and implementation of various department programs

* Acts as a liaison and support to other HR functions when necessary

* Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

* Previous recruiting and employee relations experience required

* Experience in an office setting handling sensitive and confidential information

* Excellent communication and organization skills

* High degree of professional ethics, sense of fairness, and the ability to work with individuals at all levels

* Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

* Computer proficiency and technical aptitude to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and HRIS (ADP)

* Strong analysis abilities

* Attention to detail

* Knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements

* Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

* Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field preferred; 3-5 years of similar work experience preferred

* HR certification preferred
