To continue this work we are looking for a Head of Compliance Monitoring.
What’s the role?
As Head of Compliance Monitoring (HOCM) you’ll be responsible to the Director of Safety, Security and Compliance (DSSC) and manage the independent monitoring function for easyJet operations.

As HOCM, you will ensure,
The easyJet Airline Management Board (AMB) and easyJet PLC Board, and its associated subcommittees are provided with materials and information to obtain an independent view on compliance.
The easyJet PLC subcommittee for safety, the Safety Committee, is supported to discharge their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
You’ll work collaboratively with the Operations Leadership Team and all other departments to ensure that easyJet remains in compliance with the applicable requirements.
The HOCM supports the implementation and maintenance of all applicable parts of the effective integrated management system, including compliance for easyJet.
The HOCM monitors compliance of the Air Operator Certificate (AOC) holders and Group Operation Services (GOS) with regards to the Capacity Supply Agreement.
Support Services Responsibilities
The HOCM leads the Compliance Monitoring department to deliver support services to GOS and easyJet AOC holders.
The HOCM shall ensure the Compliance Monitoring department deliver the contracted activities detailed in the applicable service agreement.
This is a crucial and high profile role that will offer interaction at Board level.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a motivational leader with strong regulatory experience gained in a high risk, complex environment. You’ll also be an influencer, able to effectively convey vision, ideas, and goals by presenting arguments in a clear and reasoned way, striving constantly to lead the development of creative solutions.
A strong academic background and /or extensive industry experience in related disciplines; primarily in aviation but also Security and health and Safety
Preferably previously held Form 4 for Operations, Maintenance and Training
Strong leadership and line management skills with the ability to identify, build and manage relationships across a range of internal and external senior management ;
A record of successfully developing and implementing strategy with solid understanding of the industry context, trends, and Operator drivers.
A willingness to be flexible and adaptable in response to emerging needs;
Capable of delivering effective stakeholder management;
Knowledge and experience of performance-based regulation;
Experience working in safety critical industries, ideally the aviation operating environment;
Being able to advise the board at a strategic level;
Confident and articulate, with excellent written and verbal communications at all levels from front-line personnel to the CEO and board of directors
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
