Luggage Resolution Coordinators will resolve issues related to the delay, loss, damage, and pilferage of mishandled bags.

Key Responsibilities:

* Communicate with customers via phone and electronically in English and Spanish.

* Control Spirit’s costs by minimizing claim payouts while working to recover mishandled bags from service failures.

* Serve as customer service central point of contact to some of Spirit’s most disappointed customers.

* Assist station personnel in locating lost and/or delayed luggage.
* Review and research claims for settlement purposes.
* Manage incoming mail; scan documents.
* Carefully process claims in an accurate and thorough manner.
* Develop close working relationships with stations, and vendors to efficiently assist in the processing of claims.

* Arrange for delivery of recovered bags at least 2 days per week.
* Maintain baggage storage area, shipment to vendors and luggage tracking system.

* Exercise a degree of flexibility with work environment – working from home and in office.

* Special projects as assigned.

Required skills/experience:

* Bachelor’s Degree or higher.

* Ability to write and speak in clear & concise responses in English and Spanish.

* Ability to interpret Spirit’s Contract of Carriage and apply it to a variety of customer situations.

* Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, and office equipment such as printers.

* Superior customer service skills.
* Ability to sit for long periods of time.
* Minimum typing 40 words per minute.
* Works well under pressure reaching fluctuating goals based on amount of incoming claims.

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve with a positive attitude in stressful situations.

* Ability to lift 50 pounds and have reliable transportation.
* Superior customer service skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of basic Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations, as well as FFA regulations, and the Warsaw and Montreal conventions preferred.

* Proficient in NetTracer, SkySpeed and NetTracer FS preferred.
