The Ground Maintenance Mechanic performs as a semi-skilled mechanic in maintenance of Ground Support Equipment (GSE). This position is responsible for utilizing appropriate tooling, equipment and material to accomplish minor maintenance functions including but not limited to the following: inspections, minor troubleshooting, repairing, removing and replacing components on all Ground Support equipment. The Ground Maintenance Mechanic may also assist a Ground Maintenance Technician Lead or a Ground Maintenance Technician on equipment when needed. Safety conscious behaviors are practiced in all operational processes and procedures.

Candidate must be authorized to work in the US, have a valid driver's license, and be at least 18 years of age. Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including fixed or rotating shifts, both indoors and outdoors, include traveling, overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidate must also achieve a satisfactory score on entry tests structured to determine ability to perform required tasks. Must be able to read, comprehend, and apply information found in technical documents and manuals. Must have a basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to automotive and/or industrial powered systems. Must have a minimum of 6 months experience and/or training in an automotive or industrial powered mechanical environment.
Must be able to pass an extensive background check, drug screen and fingerprints.
You must be able to work rotating shifts, which include traveling and overtime. Your schedule must be flexible. This position is required to work both indoors and outdoors. This position includes full benefits. You must also achieve a satisfactory score on entry tests structured to determine ability to perform required tasks.
In order you be eligible for this position, you need to have lived in the United States for at least the past 5 years.
